I am a composer, performer, and researcher with an extensive background in music information technologies. My education background includes a Bachelors of Music, Masters of Music, and advanced post-graduate studies in composition with a concentration in advanced computer music.
My creative focus varies from electroacoustic music, interactive music systems for acoustic instruments, sensor technologies and human interface devices, installations, experimental, algorithmic and aleotoric compositions and particularly exploring acousmatic approaches creating new musical works.
I am committed to the promotion of experimental and multimedia works that include real-time and non-real time computer-aided pieces using traditional performers (dance, instrumentalist, photography, video, etc.), and more conventional methods of delivery for “traditional” acoustic works.
My works have been performed both in America and abroad. I have been selected for performances at art@radio , the Imagine II Electro-Acoustic Music Festival, 60×60 Projects with Vox Novus, and also selected by Ulrich Maiss to be part of his ZenMan Improvisations project in Germany.
I am an active and a past member of the following professional societies and organizations: BMI, SEAMUS, ICMA, AMC, NACUSA, Vox Novus
